Shots of the Kent miners marching along a road on the approach to Nottingham carrying banners and chanting. There are interviews with miners as they march. We see their arrival into Old Market Square and subsequently they gather on the Forest Recreation Ground. There are further speeches and interviews (including a miner from Yorkshire who has joined them). They are also joined by striking miners from Nottinghamshire and their families. A brief section shows representatives from the Kent group being applauded inside the Albert Hall in Nottingham during a Yorkshire NUM rally.
