Description

Baggy the Clown tours around the city, looking at the problems confronting older people and those affected by disability. How easy is it for them to get about and how well served are they by their local communities and neighbourhoods?
He meets people taking part in the city’s ‘On the Move’ campaign at Castle Vale Library and visits Erdington to look at the lack of dropped kerbs for mobility scooter access. In Saltley he meets a partially sighted man, dealing with blocked pavements and stops off at a post office with no ramped entrance. We see traffic congestion and lack of crossings at Small Heath and visit an estate in Longbridge with no major bus services. Baggy finishes his tour at New Street station.
