The McDonalds sponsored Clean Green Erewash campaign was launched today in Ilkeston. Shots of David Bellamy scrubbing graffiti off a wall and Bellamy being confronted by green activists who offered him a veggie burger and point out that McDonalds’ production of beef is threatening the South American rain forests. Close up leaflets produced by both the activists and McDonalds. Interview with David Bellamy who said that McDonalds was trying hard to help the environment, such as stopping the use of CFCs, and he would advertise their fast food and give the money to conservation charities if he was asked.
