Filmed by the Fuerst Brothers. According to a Reuters report published in the Times the Nubia arrived in St Vincent on 29 October before leaving for Cape Town the following day. It was one of twelve ships chartered by the Admiralty to transport troops and equipment to the war in South Africa. It arrived in Cape Town on 13 November.
