We see platforms and a train at Leicester railway station. An Asian girl walks along the platform and leaves the station. Next we see the exterior of a corner shop that sells fabric and views of children in a playground. We then see the exterior of an Asian supermarket (Mukta Supermarket) followed by Hindu worship including the blessing of food (not clear if in a temple or in the home) and a group of Asian women dancing in a hall. Next there are street scenes and we see girls in school uniform going into a corner shop on Edwyn Street and meeting a group of mothers with pushchairs. The next scenes are of a pottery class followed by a short section showing office work at the Grattan mail order business and a brief view of people outside Chilprufe Ltd. The final section shows a school performance with pupils in costumes.
