Description

The film mixes behind the scenes shots of rehearsals with the activities that involve the construction and dismantling of the big top as well as the actual circus show.

There are interviews with the various performers throughout. None are named, however, picking up bits from the MC during the show, the press release and a Circus Fiesta poster found on e-bay gives the following:

Former lorry driver Jeff Siviter and his wife Linda who perform a sword and snake act as 'The Samurai'. (Neither is of Japanese origin).

Elderly clown Jimmy Scott with his grandson Jamie who is his apprentice.

French balance and high wire act Les Crystelles who also perform a space themed routine as The Moonrakers.

Tony Hawkins junior, the owner of Circus Fiesta whose speciality is lion taming.

Mademoiselle Joanne (?) who juggles.

David Roscoe's canine capers which is a performing dog act.

We also see children from circus families attending a school at Alcester.
