Part one, the introduction, initially shows the housing estate in which the school is situated and then outlines some of the outdoor and classroom activites that children engage with at the school. Part two focuses on nursery activities including social training, the use of 'make believe' and water play. Part three is entitled Extension of the Nursery because "Training begun in the Nursery is carried on throughout the school." and part four describes activites in the infant school.
