The film begins with a young man stood at a lectern reciting a speech/poem.
We then see a series of shots of Handsworth which is mixed with images of activites of the cultural centre.
Various people involved in the centre then talk about how the centre came about, through the probation service, what their expereinces are of the centre, how its helped them and so on.
Images of the variety of activites that go on at the centre, dance workshops/rehearsals, recording of music, art workshops, trips away and editing workshops. Traditional African music is played through out the film.
