The first four cars to cross the finishing line in the 1966 Monte Carlo rally were:
Timo Makinen (BMC Mini Cooper)
Roger Clark (Ford Lotus Cortina)
Rauno Aaltonen (BMC Mini Cooper)
Paddy Hopkirk (BMC Mini Cooper)
All were disqualified due to having non-dipped headlights.
Victory was awarded to Pauli Toivonen driving a Citroen.
