Description

In between existing buildings on Watling Street, a construction site is clearly visible. Two large piles of bricks stand in the mud and a cement mixer idles nearby.

A sign adverting the future of the site reads, ‘WILNECOTE SHOPPING CENTRE. LOCKUP SHOPS TO LET. From £225 to £250 pa (exclusive of rates). Sales area 462 Sq Ft including toilet and wash basin, rear entrance, parking facilities.’

Half a dozen builders are seen continuing their work, despite the lack of planning permission.
