Description

The strike was at Coventry Precision Ltd and Dex Machine Tools Ltd which are both part of the Dowty Group. Large crowds are seen as workers from a Coventry factory gather for a strike meeting. Demands are made for the sacking of an inspector after comments about a blind man (Granville Waterworth) were allegedly made. He states that the men still work under the masters and servants act, under which the worker is always seen as being in the wrong.
