Description

John Wilfod asks if the minister has any comment for the City Council, which has put council house rents up in the last month? He replies that he doesn’t want to harangue and Birmingham City council known he disagrees but it is their jurisdiction.

The following discussion centres upon the predicted lack of building space in Birmingham in the future.

A cut is made to show the outside of the new refuse plant at Castle Bromwich, and inside a refuse truck is seen manoeuvring and emptying its load. The rubbish is then seen being sorted on a conveyor belt. Outside shots of the plant end the story.
