Description

We see crowds gathered in the Old Market Square and shots of the Lord Mayor Sir Albert Ball arriving at the Council House. We also see a procession involving various groups, including a military band and the Boys Brigade, arriving in the square. We then see shots of Corporation and church dignatories gathered on the Council House steps for the proclamation, intercut with shots of the crowd and the Council House clock showing a time of 1.25. We also see the band performing.
