Description

Mute film of the Duke of Gloucester visiting Norton Barracks in Worcestershire. Cut from Midlands News item 2242 broadcast on 13 January 1960.

We see the Duke inspecting soldiers at the barracks (an Inniskillings badge is visible on one of the soldier's uniforms).

A demonstration on a skid pan of a new anti skid device fitted to a Mini and a brief interview with the rally driver Pat Moss about the forthcoming Monte Carlo rally.

Mute shots of people queuing to buy tickets for an Arts Ball (at an unknown location).

We see people queuing outside a building (wearing warm clothes) and money being taken at a ticket window. Source unknown.
