The Leicester based Pex company were formed in 1914. The went into administration in 1999 but were reborn after a 2004 management by-out as Pex Kids Ltd based in Whetstone and producing children's socks.
The main Pex factory in Leicester was known as West Bridge Mills, following its closure it was converted into flats.
