The bracelets will be used on prisoners from next year and are now being tested. Interview with Doctor Ken Russell from Leicester Polytechnic who said that the tests would stop the myths about the tags. Interview with Professor Bob Lilly of Leicester Polytechnic about the research being done into electronic tagging. Interview with Linda Wilson-Croome, chief probation officer who opposes electronic tags and said that they were ineffective and that there were other ways of keeping a check on low and medium risk offenders.
