Description

The 'mystery ramble' conducted by the boys of Westcotes School begins with the boys walking along country lanes and through fields. A vicar then gives them a tour of Burton Overy where we see the exterior of St Andrew's Church. They go from here through more fields to Illston on the Hill and then on to Rolleston Park where we see a memorial known as the Preaching Cross. Then on to Billesdon where they stop in the centre of the village before heading to the hill fort at Burrough on the Hill. The final section shows a visit to Brooksby Hall Farm Institute where we see farm animals and machinery and a man explaining how to use a water divining rod.
