Hughes from Boythorpe in Derbyshire was being transferred yesterday from Leicester Prison to court in Chesterfield when he overpowered and stabbed two prison guards in a taxi and escaped on foot across Beeley Moor. Interview with the head of Derbyshire CID Alfred Horobin who describes Hughes as a very violent man. He asks the public to report any sightings but not to try to have a go at him.
