Description

The film begins with shots of rides and traction engines at the Melton Mowbray Steam Fair held at Six Hills on 2 June 1968. Next we have views of trains (diesel hauled) on the main railway line near Ambergate and a steam special. There are brief shots of a fire after an explosion at Stevensons Dye works near Ambergate in 1968. Finally there are scenes of people swimming at a swimming baths, Gibfield Lane, Belper.
