The film begins with shots in colour of a woman in a garden and walking in countryside followed by shots of a child in a garden.
In the next section there are shots in black and white of a man in a car, a woman in a country lane and shots of a river. Next there are shots of the bridge over the River Severn at Bewdley.
Following this we see shots back in colour of a woman walking with a dog near Clifton suspension bridge in Bristol. Then we see shots of a river and scenes back in Bewdley of the bridge, traffic and a bandstand. Next there are shots of a man and woman playing with a dog and a group of schoolchildren in a back garden.
Next there are shots of Eastgate and the castle in Warwick, shots of a sign for Worcestershire followed by more shots of countryside and roads in Kidderminster. We then see shots of two women and a child having tea at a table and then looking at a cruise brochure. After the intertitle ‘Tests for Make up’ we see shots of a woman reading a book and doing her hair and make-up then drinking a cocktail. This is followed by the woman having tea in bed. Finally there are shots taken from a boat of Spithead naval review.
