The opening section is b/w and shows flags and bunting being put up in the centre of Hereford. We then see views of the city centre decorated with flags including Broad Street and the exterior of the Market Hall. A marching band is seen and crowds waiting for the Royal visit. Next at Dinmore Hill we see Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh arriving by car where they are met by the Mayor of Hereford C.J. Gooding. Next in the city centre the Queen watches an assembly of local children at the Edgar Street football ground. We then see the visitors at the Cattle Market where they inspect livestock and meet farmers. At the Town Hall the Queen unveils a plaque and finally the Royal party are seen arriving and entering Hereford Cathedral.
