Description

The reel begins with people walking in the grounds of a castle followed by a baby in a pram, a boy playing in the garden of a house (probably in Derbyshire), children posing for the camera and a girl skipping outside a house. After a dark sequence showing people on a lane we see people standing outside a newsagent's shop followed by a girl driving a pedal car (Austin J40). The next sequence shows a trip to London with views of Fleet Street and Trafalgar Square including pigeons being fed. There are also shots from a visit to Windsor Castle. We then see people boarding a ship (Fairsea operated by Sitmar Lines - location may be Southampton with ship bound for Australia). We then see views from a train carriage window and finally back in Derbyshire we see brief shots of staff outside the Singing Kettle Café in Matlock Bath.
