Description

Inter-titles are used to identify landmarks. We see views of the centre of Lourdes in France including the parish church and birthplace of the saint Bernadette Soubirous. We then see views of the grotto, Basilica where a ceremony is underway including a parade of pilgrims and the blessing of the sick. Moving away from Lourdes we see the film-maker's party on the front at Biarritz and paddling in the sea. This is followed by shots taken en route for Gavarnie by bus through the Pyrenees including a stop-over on the Spanish frontier at Hendaye. Finally we see the group leaving France by ferry.
