We see Joe Ashton MP interviewing delegates at the Conservative Party conference. Many are surprised to see Ashton and he asks them about their low poll rating despite winning the General Election this year. We then see a view of the conference chamber with Margaret Thatcher, Michael Heseltine, Nigel Lawson, Peter Walker and Ted Heath all visible. Ashton provides a critical commentary on each senior Tory. Ashton then conducts vox pops with conference visitors including a group of Conservative trade union members.
