Description

We see two children in fancy dress (Dick Whittington and his cat) who join other local people (including adults) in costume to take part in the Rocester festival parade. The procession including a drum band march through the town and onto local playing fields. We then see a festival football match between a women's team and a team of men dressed in drag played on the Rocester FC ground. After family scenes in a back garden we see views of London landmarks (small boy in some shots) including Nelson's Column, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus and the Imperial War Museum. Back in Rocester we see a visit by the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles to the local factory of JCB. We see the prince chatting to people outside the works and then leaving by helicopter. The final section shows a visit to Cardiff including views of the area around Llandaff Cathedral.
