Description

The film begins with a shot of two stationary white Ford 5 cwt Hydefield vans at the farm. This is followed by extensive footage of red poll cows and bullocks grazing in fields. We also see a horse drawn trailer carrying hay through a snow covered farmyard and then into a snowy field where the hay is deposited for the cattle; the exterior of the farm house at Hyde Field; an agricultural show featuing red polls; chickens; harvesting hay followed by a picnic and children practising to lead cattle for shows. The film ends with a focus on the farm's red poll bull with shots of it in its pen and in the field with the cows. The last shots are of red poll calves.
