The film starts at Eyton Hall as preparations are made to leave for the Weobley Home Improvements Society Ploughing Competition. Once at the event we see farmers using tractors to plough sections of a field. This is followed by the Llanwarne Plouging Competition two days later where most of the ploughing is conducted by horses rather than machines. There is also a sheep dog trial, a vegetable growing competition and produce in a marquee. The film ends back at Eyton Hall where we see cattle and turkeys as well as flowers in greenhouses that are being picked and prepared for despatch as well as the harvesting of turnips.
