Description

Opening section is a drama (appears to be incomplete and not fully edited). We see a man washing up at home. A woman writes a shopping list and leaves the house carrying a shopping basket. A girl in the garden has a kite stuck in a tree and calls for her father. He leaves the washing up and goes outside tripping over the washing line prop on his way. A boy is seen up the tree trying to retrieve the kite. Man drying up crockery and then outside mowing lawn. He sees a younger man passing in the street and asks the children to empty the mower grass box. A woman arrives with children. The man leaves his front door, opens garage door to reveal car but has second thoughts and decides to walk along road. Caption 'The New Member'. The younger man from the street earlier is seen walking through Wolverhampton town centre, stopping to talk to a policeman. He arrives at a building and inside meets members of the Wulfrun Amateur Cine Club. We then see a member cement splicing film and setting up a projector. The members then sit down in seats for a screening followed by scrolling caption inviting new members to join.
