Description

At the Le Mans 24 hour race in France we see pit-lane preparations on the experimental Rover BRM gas turbine car with team manager Wilkie Wilkinson. In a commentary Peter Spear, director of research at Rubery Owen describes the car with A.F. Rivers Fletcher. We see the start of the race and the Rover-BRM leaving 30 seconds after the main field due to its non-regulation design. We see various stages in the race including night driving and shots of drivers Graham Hill and Richie Ginther in the pit lane and pit stops. Ferrari fill the first six places and we see the Rover-BRM at the finish.
