Description

The film begins with animated titles. This is followed by a poster detailing the events at Chesterton Stadium. The first part of the film shows a historical re-enactment performed to a crowd about the royal charter being awarded by Henry II in 1173. The next sequence features stalls at the fair and games and a performance of Ring o' Bells by a group of Morris dancers. We also see an escapologist performing his act and a man on stage with a snake. The last part of the film includes demonstrations of archery and fighting with staffs followed by a show from the British Jousting Society.
