Description

The film begins with a cricket match including men drinking outside the pavilion. This is followed by another cricket match at Ellesmere College in Shropshire (including a nice shot of older boys in their whites leaving the field). This is followed by a parent / student event that might be at Ellesmere too.
We then visit an aerodrome (in France?) where a number of light aircraft take off and land and a cargo aircraft, with its nose doors open, is prepared to take its load. Next we see a woman removing a cork from a wine bottle and pouring its contents into wine glasses. There are then men on motorbikes and a woman joins them. Shots of an indoor market are next and then people sitting on a beach with derelict concrete gun emplacements behind them (Normandy?). The film ends with an aerial view from an aircraft.
