We open with a a shot of a car and caravan parked outside the Cross family home in Northampton. A young couple embrace. Two men get into the car and drive away towing the caravan. We then see the car and caravan parked by a lake. A man stands on the running board as it drives away again. Next we are in a field and the caravan is parked and an awning has been added to the side. There are views of the men eating food, collecting water from a stream and one man is seen playing on a nearby beach with a dog. A biplane is briefly seen flying overhead. Back to the campsite and we see William Pepper Cross dozing in a chair smoking a cigarette in a holder. More beach and campsite scenes follow (possibly at another site). The men with the caravan have been joined by a woman with children who are staying in a tent. The men swing two small children in a blanket. Scenic shots as the group explore the area following including hiking up a hill and views of a stream and, briefly, a castle. On a different camp site we see briefly inside the caravan where a man is sleeping.
Next we are in Aberdovey (Aberdyfi) where we see a parade on Copper Hill Street turning onto Terrace Road. In front of a row of houses a brass band plays and a carnival queen is crowned. Further scenes on a camp site follow with a man stretching, exercising and running on the spot.
