"Tenby Wells Show August 14th 1954". Beginning in colour and later switching to b/w we see views of an agricultural show at Tenbury Wells in Worcestershire. There are displays from riders on horseback and views of sheep, cattle and shire horses on show. We also see show jumping, an appearance by the local huntsmen with hounds, a running race and a pony club event in which riders dismount and tackle obstacles such as walking in a sack.
"Show at Monmouth 26th August 1954". Similar scenes with riders on horseback in an arena, flowers on show in a marquee, displays of cattle, a parade of farm animals, huntsmen and a show jumping display. There is also a wide shot of the site taking in the trade stands.
"Show at Knighton 27th August 1954". We again see views of horses and farm livestock on display at the show that takes place in the town in Powys but there are also cycle and running races on a grass track. There is a display of shire horses and a parade of cattle followed by prize giving. After the hunt display we finish with further show jumping.
