Description

From the DVD cover:
'Youth Against Apartheid - A 44 minute production which clearly articulates the struggle against apartheid in Southern Africa, and presents the anti-apartheid movement in Britain. In both of these aspects the video concentrates on the contribution of youth to the struggle.
It’s release coincides with the emergence of anti-apartheid youth groups who aim specifically to mobilise against apartheid. Youth against apartheid includes information on trade unionism, the sanctions campaign, BTR / Samrol strike; Namibia and the Namibia support committee in Britain.
Using interviews, an original soundtrack and archive footage from South Africa as well as recent anti-apartheid events; the video is accessible to youth and clearly shows how and why apartheid must be fought."
