In the studio Lincolnshire farmer Mary Large makes a speech giving her views on agriculture, pollution, power generation and land utilisation. Some of her points are illustrated with library shots.

After her speech she faces a panel made up of Rene Frichy (employment relations consultant), John Redwood (Conservative MP) and Chris Elphick (expert on inner city life and unemployment) and her proposals are discussed.
