Description

Colin Semper invites members of a studio audience to talk about their vision for the twenty first century. Subjects covered include the future role of technology which could lead to the decline of traditional industries, the need for more inclusivity in society and the changes to the existing hierarchy to eliminate future discrimination relating to race or social standing. Also the role of women and minority communities in what is currently described as an elitist society. The distribution of wealth and the need for a minimum wage is also discussed. Listening to the debate and commenting at the end are three members of parliament: Clare Short (Labour, Birmingham Ladywood); Malcolm Bruce (Liberal Alliance, Gordon) and Anthony Beaumont Dark (Conservative, Birmingham Selly Oak).
