Description

We see the Duke of Edinburgh arriving at the building site for the new Telford shopping centre. Inside a marquee he is shown a map and models of the area. Next he is seen getting out of a Land Rover at the Bookside local centre where he goes on walkabout through the estate, visits the shopping precinct and signs a visitors book. Another arrival follows where the Duke is again shown a model in a marquee and then walks through part of the Blist's Hill open air museum where he stops to chat to people working on a steam engine. Next he arrives at Ironbridge and again walks past waving crowds. Finally we see the Duke watching a children's gymnastics display at the Court Centre followed by a tour of Madeley Court School.
