Description

The film begins with a carnival procession including floats bearing Sunday School queens and their attendants. This is followed by the crowning of the queens at the Methodist hall. A fete is then held in a field where a fancy dress parade is held and girls perform in syncrhonised dancing troupea perform a dance with a Mexican theme. Various 'bring and buy' stalls subsequently feature as well as a candyfloss stall and an ice cream seller smoking a cigarette. A tug of war competition is then followed by more synchronised dancing. The film ends with more footage iniside the chapel.
