Description

The opening section shows the arrival of Princess Margaret at Priorslee Hall (the headquarters of the Telford Development Corporation) where she is me by the TDC chairman Sir Frank Price. Next we see Princess Margaret arriving at the Eaton Yale and Towne factory where she is given a tour of their tractor factory. We then see her on a walkabout in the rain through the shopping precinct at Madeley where she stops to look at a model of the area. Next at the Coalbrookdale Museum the princess is shown industrial relics and then is seen alongside the river Severn talking to coracle maker Eustace Rogers and planting a tree. Finally we see her arrival at another civic building where she meets another set of local dignitaries.
