The film starts with shots of scouts building a beacon out of crates (some printed with Davenports Bath Row Birmingham) as a crowd looks on at Barr Beacon, Walsall. A brief section then shows a military parade on a street. This is followed by night shots of the crowd watching the burning bonfire.
The remainder of the reel shows sections from an unidentified official film of the Silver Jubilee in London on 6 May 1935. There are shots of King George V, Queen Mary, Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II), Princess Margaret, Prince Albert, Duke of York (later George VI) and Duchess of York (later Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother) arriving and leaving the ceremony. Finally there are shots of the Royal Family on the balcony at Buckingham Palace in front of crowds.
