Description

We open with views of a family holiday to Scotland including swimming in a loch, a sleeping baby, views of the Inverdruie Fisheries where we see the trout farm, shots from a chair lift in the Cairngorms and people at viewing platform.

We then cut to Belper in Derbyshire where we see exterior shots of houses decorated with bunting for the 1977 Silver Jubilee. Hunter Road is visible as well as a shot of a pub painted with a giant union flag. We continue with scenes in Laund Close, Belper where preparations are underway for a street party with road closed signs and trestle tables for food and drinks. Hard to make out views of a fireworks display at night follow.

Next we see a woman taking a photograph of a toddler in a front garden. The boy is then seen being pushed on his tricycle. This is followed by a family outing to Black Rocks in Derbyshire where we see distant views of a teenage boy clambering up the rocks to the summit and then the family outside the restored winding house at Middleton Top. We then see a gathering of St John's ambulance brigade personnel in a field. They are then inspected by a uniformed officer. A brief shot of people on a street in Belper is followed by night views of a funfair including briefly a boy with candyfloss and riding a mini roundabout. Shots of adults and children sledging in snow (probably also in Belper) end the reel.
