Description

We see shots of a family in a garden and shots of a woman with a suitcase and next to flowers in a garden on Green Lane, Lambley. We see a woman walking dogs and another group also in Green Lane. Then we see shots of a flood in Bulwell, taken from an upstairs window (Apollo Cinema in the distance). We see flooded streets and two policemen with a rowing boat. In the following sequence we see a woman in the doorway of a house on Green Lane. Then we see children country dancing on tennis courts at a garden party at a house in Spring Lane, Lambley. The film continues with shots of stalls and people playing a game of skittles. Finally we see shots on Jericho Farm of farmers with cattle, moving pails of milk, in a yard with a bull and in a field with sheep. There are brief shots of a woman hanging out washing in the snow and snow covered countryside. The film ends with a family group outside a house in Green Lane.
