Description

We see a girl standing in a garden wearing school uniform. We the cut to three girls standing for the camera wearing their uniforms. We then see a brief shot inside a classroom and then girls dancing in a large circle in the playground (location is Walhouse primary school at Cannock). We then cut to a garden and a group of girls dressed as flower fairies perform at play. Boys arrive in the scene dressed as insects. Further shots of the play follow but this time shot in colour. The remainder of the reel is taken up with a trip to London with views of Buckingham Palace (filmed from within a crowd with Grenadier Guards on parade in the rain - some people are briefly seen with cardboard periscopes); exterior of Westminster Abbey and the Royal Albert Hall; children feeding pigeons and unsteady views taken from a moving bus.
