We open with a group of women wearing headscarves standing in flood water outside the Ruston and Hornsby factory. Lorries are seen driving through the water and there are several sequences that show the outside of the factory buildings with water lapping and workers wading through water. There are shots taken inside an office showing furniture piled high to avoid the water (quite dark and hard to see). We also see inside an upstairs office with women working at desks as normal. The final section shows us briefly inside one of the machine shops which have also been flooded.
