Description

Shots of crowds (some with Union flags) gathering in the centre of Higham Ferrers. The Mayor of Higham Ferrers, Councillor H.O. Binder, and other local dignitaries walking past the crowd. Views of royal cars arriving and Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh entering Chichele College. Views of shop fronts in the town decorated in honour of the royal visit. The Queen and Duke are then seen standing on a platform in the market square and then visiting St Mary's Church. Shot of police holding back crowds. Reel ends with views of the royal cars leaving the town and people chasing after them.
