Description

Peter McGarry visits the kennels of dog breeder Edward Crowley in the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. Crowley breeds dogs for use in animal testing. We see his animals in their kennels. Interview with Crowley about his business and the contradiction between what he does and his interest in dogs which includes him being a judge at Crufts. He also talks about the practices of anti vivisectionists. Next McGarry visits an animal research laboratory (at a secret location and said to be the first time television cameras had been allowed in). He talks to a scientist about the work that they carry out and we see dogs being examined and fed.
