British Railways steam locomotive passing the camera. Views of a village fete (not clear where) with young children in fancy dress (one boy is one of the Thunderbirds crew) then sports events for the children and views of a few fete stalls. Further railway shots (likely to be taken on a special service towards the end of BR steam). Red Arrows display team on tarmac and at an air-show (they were based at Little Rissington in Gloucestershire during this era). Distant views of the visit by Queen Elizabeth II to Rugby School on 12 May 1967. The remainder of the reel is earlier and includes views taken of Queen Elizabeth II on a visit to the University of Birmingham on 24 May 1963. We continue with shots of the outdoor swimming pool at Rugby School including shots of diving. Further steam railway including the Flying Scotsman on a special train and views of the Settle to Carlisle line in the 1960s. Brief shot of traffic in Dublin city centre. A diesel railcar and electric tramway on the Isle of Man. View of a fox hunt and hounds. A small car ferry and passengers. We end with shots of people picking strawberries.
