The film begins with shots in colour of houses in the village of Kniveton and people next to a building site. Then we see a family outside a caravan in the 60s. The film switches to earlier (1930s) black and white shots of a man walking down a lane and ducks on a pond. We see more shots of villagers and the film finishes with family photographs.
