There are shots of pigeons in a pigeon house feeding, breeding, nesting and shots of pigeon chicks. Next we see a group of men attaching pigeon racing rings to birds’ legs before loading baskets of pigeons into a car. We then see shots of pigeon racing clocks being prepared to track the time of races. Next we see scenes at Starbeck in Harrogate as pigeons are released from baskets (we see tickets on baskets to return race pigeon baskets to addresses in Radcliffe on Trent and Newstead). We then see shots of a man with pigeons in a back garden and loading rings retrieved from the pigeons into the clock to record the race times. We then see shots of people at a dinner and pigeon racing prize giving. There are shots of a man making a speech, prizes being handed out, people dancing and a band.
