The opening section is b/w and shows people marching past the Residence Hotel in Hereford including soldiers, police officers, nurses and scouts. We then see a military parade through Hereford city centre led by an officer being driven in a Land Rover and including several military vehicles. We then cut to playing fields where there are distant shots of soldiers parading up and down. The final section is in colour and shows guardsmen also on the parade ground but at a different location.
